It was a good stay overall; the only thing I would say to help them move to the highest rate is that the room was fairly clean, but the windows were dusty. The cabin may need a bit more updating. It looks like they already did some work on it. The staff was nice. Thank you for that.

My wife and I traveled to that area for a concert at the caverns. We found this live to be the perfect little place to stay for a long weekend plenty of hiking available nearby. The room was simple, clean and exactly what we needed for the night.

The Smokehouse Inn takes you back in time. Slightly dated, but the rooms are clean as a whistle, and the staff is friendly. More importantly, rooms are available at a tremendous value.

We spent one night here as a layover. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Didn’t get to use some amenities. Rooms are a little older, but clean. It was extremely humid and damp when we arrived (it had rained before we got there) but the room’s AC unit has a setting to dehumidify and after we came back from dinner it was MUCH better. Beds were very comfortable.

It’s an easy place. It’s kept up fairly well. Has nice rooms very comfortable bedding not a bad place for a night. Haven’t seen the cabins but if they cut up like the rooms, they’re probably a nice.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very average. We found trash from previous occupants. Some fixtures were broken. The mattress was very hard to get in and out of. Very dated. A little bit of TLC would bump up the ratings from average to better. Pretty much like a very average motel.

It was so clean and luxurious feeling walking into the room. Spacious rooms. The outside is so cute especially at night with all the string lights. Tons of activities for children. Tire swing, basketball court, of course the pool was a hit, & you can rent bikes. We didnt stay for the weekend to enjoy the restaurant & live band but overall it was great especially for the price. There was a firepit area too! Every staff member i met was super friendly & helpful. Lots of parking available too.

Cabin room was great for space vs normal hotel room. Jacuzzi tub a big plus after a day of hiking! Also super pet friendly - quieter vs hotel/motel, and tons of grass or woods nearby to walk dogs away from the highway.
