“Listen to the “too good to be true” voice in your head. As of this writing, I’m the second review, and in both cases, our reservations were cancelled without notice. I got a five word in-app text AFTER checkin time when I was already en route, no explanation, no apology. Maybe the owner is struggling with their booking system across platforms, but either way, I won’t chance it again. The host was super rude and took no accountability when I expressed frustration.”

“I have very mixed feelings about this place. The good: beautiful large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with balconies, in room laundry and full kitchen. Very responsive host. The bad: No real AC. Unit was 80 degrees when I arrived. Fridge was broken and inoperable .”

“A wonderfully located hotel. Having no front desk and communicating by text or phone took a little getting used to. When we arrived (before the check in time) they had sent the front door code but no room number. I think you don’t get the room number until check in. Luckily our room was ready early and we got the code.”

“It’s a two-story building, and I ended up staying on the lower level. Unfortunately, it smelled strongly like an old basement. Also, while sitting at the table, you can tell you were on a slanted floor. I wasn’t sure if I was losing my mind so I set a pencil on the floor and it rolled down exactly like I suspected. “Property grew on us. When we arrived at 1:30 we were told we could check in early for $20 or wait another hour and a half. Out of principle, I opted to wait because clearly the room was ready, it was just a money grab. I don’t blame the workers bc I’m sure they are just following procedure. The rooms are clean, we used the kitchen to cook every morning, we used the grill on the roof next door, and really enjoyed the accessibility to the ferry.
