Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little outdated, fridge had old pizza in a ziplock and there was a missing sheer curtain. Everything else was good to stay and seemed cleaned. It is a dated hotel. And it is north of Tucson in the town of Catalina, AZ. So if you want to be closer to downtown Tucson, this may not be the place to stay. That being said, the staff and GM made the stay comfortable and resolved any issues. They really cared to make the stay nice. Plus, Catalina State Park is a few miles away along with horseback riding ranches and Oro Valley Marketplace. So it is a good place to stay if those are your intentions.
