We absolutely loved staying at the Townhouse Rooms. As Canadians we appreciate friendliness and definitely felt at home with our warm and hospitable hosts. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, as well as quiet. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Also loved the afternoon cake! Would certainly recommend.

What a fabulous place ! Our room was large, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a huge comfy bed, coffee and lots of different teas (which you are welcome to top up from the breakfast room anytime) and biscuits. Breakfast is continental but there's everything you need and more plus fresh milk in the fridge and, every afternoon, June puts out her chocolate tiffin cakes and famous Victoria sponge cake in an assortment of flavours for you to help yourself......and we did. Fantastic ! The place itself is a 10 minute walk downhill to the city centre and June provided us with a map and noted down some pubs and restaurants, which we took advantage of. In fact, the nearest pub is only a couple of hundred metres away. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay, would definitely return and would highly recommend.

This is the place to stay if you want the perfect b&b in Truro. June, the owner, was a very friendly lady and gave us all the information we needed about Truro. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We had the 4 poster bed room which was very comfortable and spacious. We had the best sleep of our 5-week holiday here. There was a room at the front of the house where you not only had breakfast but could also have a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, as well as June’s wonderfully freshly baked cake at any time of the day. Highly recommended.

As long as you can manage the hill down to the city centre and back up again this is a lovely place to stay. June and Greg are welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable and had everything you would need. We liked the serve yourself breakfast arrangements. There was plenty of choice and the fruit salad was particularly good. A real bonus was having the dining room open in the afternoon and evening with tea and coffee available and June's delicious home-made cake, and the opportunity to use it to eat your own food or takeaway. Beautiful garden too, though the wet weather prevented us from making use of it!

Tastefully decorated townhouse on quiet road a few minutes walk from Truro town centre, with off-street parking. Immaculately clean, with a wide selection of cold buffet breakfast. Spacious bedroom and en suite. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and a refreshment room for use throughout the day for teas and coffees. Homemade cake was a nice extra touch - an delicious. Friendly hosts.
