“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...

“Well positioned to walk into the City centre, yet in a quiet corner so no traffic noise or the like. Nice room and view. Very clean and well-maintained throughout the property. I found the bar a strange room, but nice if you can sit outside. Staff very good. The gym is not a gym, merely a cross-trainer and a couple of small dumbbells in a very small room. In fairness the hotel calls it a "fitness room" and it is expedia that categorises it as a gym. Overall very good though.”

“We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊”
