Great hotel with stellar service

Nice hotel in great location. The room was clean and very comfortable, and service at the front desk was excellent. We were quite surprised at the breakfast options. Will most definitely stay there again if we have the privilege of returning to Trøndheim.

I stayed for three nights as a solo traveler in a Standard Twin Room. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet at night. Breakfast started at 6:30 am and offered a good range of options. The hotel’s location in the town centre made getting around easy, with a shopping mall, restaurants, and cafés just a short walk away. It takes about 35 minutes to walk to the campus of NTNU, and the route is very straightforward.

Lovely one night stay.

Lovely one night stay at the Quality Hotel Prinsen,great customer service clean and beautiful ambience. Only niggle the breakfast food although an excellent choice of many foods was not hot..we both had scrambled egg and it was nearly cold. But apart from this an excellent stay.

The hotel breakfast was the best! The only thing we did not like was that there was a lot of noise from people outside up until about midnight. Also, there was machine noise for hours in the early morning on Saturday (3:00 am onwards) that looked like washing of the many bus stops just outside the hotel.

Absolute fantastic location, restaurants and shops around the corner. Breakfast outstanding with very friendly staff. Never found a torn bed sheet in my hotel bed before, but it was clean and did not bother me.

Nice hotel in the centre of Trondheim. Got early check in. Quick service at the reception. Big room, good breakfast - plenty tables, so no waiting. Gym and restaurants. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but ok. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Trondheim. Will stay here again.

Good choice.

Welcoming staff. We arrived off the Havila boat early and were able to store our bags until check in later in the day. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The location was excellent for visiting all the main sites.

Wonderful reception staff

The staff at reception at all the different shifts were outstanding. Both my husband and I were impressed with their friendliness but also their kindness shown. Of course, the room was like any other” good” hotel room and apart from the tricky issue of making sure the seal of the 2 partitions of the shower was tight otherwise, water leaks out all over the floor, it was a very pleasant stay. The buffet really is exceptional as the variety was huge. There was a lovely waitress who was kind enough to give me her time and patience and teach me the pronunciation of Norwegian. This is such a lovely hotel to stay in in Trondheim. Also it is located close to all the important tourist sites and close to Skansen station which means a train trip to and from the airport is only about 1 hour and costs only 45 kr pp.
