I moved here at short notice due to an unsatisfactory booking elsewhere, and was impressed with my experience at Radisson. The location is excellent, on the water and near to tourist sights, easily walkable to the cathedral etc. There are bus stops a few blocks away. Breakfast was very good, with gluten free bread and other GF options. I was surprised to find one of my side window curtains mostly detached from its hooks, but this was remedied on the first housekeeping visit.

Good hotel in convenient location. Breakfast was excellent. Great bar. Room wasn’t ready until several hours after check in time. Reception staff were not able to offer any alternatives. During stay room was not serviced until early evening which was not ideal. Property is next to a car rental business so busy with traffic.

Overall it was a good stay and I’d very happily stay again. The rooms are spacious and nicely styled, breakfast was great, and it’s in a perfect location. The only issue was the temperate of our room which was much too hot - the windows didn’t open and aircon didn’t appear to work. If that was addressed, I’d give it 5*.

Nice location. However, it was not very tidy. When we checked in there was a big pile of human hair (!) on a table in our room, just like someone had cleansed their hairbrush... also dirt on the lobby floor which was not removed for 12 hours. Staff was friendly though, restaurants had a nice view and food was good (big portions), bar was really nice. Breakfast was decent as well.

Wished they had laundry facilities and cheaper more convenient parking. The easy park app did not work so had to use the parking machine in the lot, in the rain. The bar staff was not knowledgeable about taking dinner orders and got the order wrong. The manager straightened it out.

There was a hospitality strike while we were there. The General Manager (Tone) got involved and tool great care of us!! Radisson has excellent locations both in the city of Trondheim and right at the airport—a very short walk to the terminal (2 minutes)!!
