A great, modern hotel with a bit of personality and some great design features. Our room was close to the bridge so busy with people walking past but if you look past that the views of the mountains were great. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice and a barrister making coffees. The location of the hotel is very handy, close to buses but also on the trendy side of the harbour with good restaurants nearby.

The Dock is hands down the place to stay in Tromsø—seriously, why would you choose anywhere else? The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center, attractions, and all the tour meet-up spots, which made everything incredibly easy. The rooftop igloos are a standout feature, offering a spectacular view that really elevates the whole experience. The hotel has all the amenities you need (gym, spa, in-room safe, breakfast buffet, 2 onsite restaurants, a rooftop viewing platform to catch the Northern Lights from, room service, in room mini bar, etc).
