We have stayed here a few times now and it is a perfectly OK hotel, maybe it is a bit expensive – Uddevalla is not the metropolis that everyone wants to go to. It is also a bit worn, this is especially noticeable in the bathrooms which could use a major refresh. Clean and tidy in general though, the breakfast is also good. But there is also a noticeable decline there, the range is still good, but the ingredients are worse. For example, the ham is pressed ham and it is not orange juice, it is watery orange squash.

Nice hotel in (what seemed like) a quiet city centre. Room was functional and clean. Comfortable beds. The bathroom was quite old and seemed in need of restoration, but worked. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist upon arrival and the staff in the breakfast room was also very friendly. Great breakfast. Public parking nearby, which is free on evenings and weekends.

During my stay the hotel facade was under renovation and unfortunately I had some building material on the balcony. On the other hand the location has a really good free parking spot (between 18 and 10) close by. Breakfast was really enjoyable and the hotel bar has a really peculiar feel. The hotel is also placed in a strategic location, close to the main train station and the city center.
