TrĂšs mauvaise expĂ©rience ! L’hĂŽtel est dans Ă©tat de vĂ©tustĂ© trĂšs avancĂ© ! Rien Ă  voir au photos sur le site! A mon arrivĂ©e il m’on fait payer, puis annoncĂ© que l’hĂŽtel fermait deux jours plus tĂŽt ! Le week-end arrivant l’horreur plus place dans le parking du au local qui y stationne pour passĂ© un moment sur la Marina. Des fĂȘtes clandestines dans les chambres ! Je suis partie 3 jours plutĂŽt et me battre pour le remboursement !

Ensemble TRÈS vieillissant. L’interieur de la chambre a Ă©tĂ© refait, mais l’ensemble est constituĂ© de grands blocs vetustes qui doivent dater des annĂ©es 80. La vue “marina” est en fait une vie sur un terrain de tennis, volley ou hand dĂ©safectĂ©. La plage est un coin de sable amĂ©nagĂ©. Impression un peu glauque... en tout cas rapport qualitĂ© prix dĂ©favorable!

TrĂšs difficile Ă  trouver surtout quand on arrive le soir: aucune indication... et il faut chercher l'hĂŽtel Carayou, pas la RĂ©sidence la Marina. Nous Ă©tions en Martinique pour le travail donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter de tous les avantages de la rĂ©sidence mais le sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs agrĂ©able. Nous avons bien apprĂ©cie d'avoir l'arrĂȘt des navettes maritimes Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied pour pouvoir rejoindre Fort de France trĂšs rapidement. Chambre spacieuse, propre avec un petit balcon et une jolie vue sur la Marina; Petit-dĂ©jeuner trĂšs correct dans une salle avec vue sur la mer.

Hotel agréable, petit-déjeuné correcte mais il manque certains produits. voisins du dessus trÚs bruyants la nuit jusqu'à passé minuit et agent d'accueil seuil pas trÚs réactif face au problÚme. la résidence compte des appartements vendus à des particuliers dont les locataires ne respectent pas toujours les rÚgles de vie d'un établissement 3 étoiles ! wifi de trÚs mauvaise qualité pour ne pas dire inexistant !

Lugnt lÀge, tyst o stilla. Turistby, ingen lokalbefolkning. Bara en matbutik med litet sortiment. Dyrt, bara vin o rom billigt. Inga torg eller marknader med exempelvis fÀrsk frukt i nÀrheten. Bra snorkestrand pÄ andra sidan udden. Mycket program pÄ hotellet, men mest pensionÀrer pÄ plats. Litet rum för 3 personer, men rent o fint. NÀra till fÀrjan över till Forte de France. UtfÀrdsbÄtar i marinan, allt bara pÄ franska. Liksom menyerna pÄ restaurangerna o personalen pÄ de flesta stÀllena - allt bara pÄ franska, inget pÄ engelska. Bra om man kan Ätminstone lite franska.

Convienent and sweet

This hotel is set in a great location on the island. It is in the center town; 5 min walk to beaches and ferry that takes you to Fort-de- France. The hotel has 2 lovely pools and ita own private beach. The rooms are very small yet cozy. The kitchenette on the balcony came in handy during our stay. My only complaint, the bed was very uncomfortable. The matress was paper thin!! All in all. Great hotel to stay at. If you want to travel to other beaches and tourist sites, rent a car. Cabs are very expensive, 40 to 70 euro.

Résidence trÚs difficile à trouver, il faut savoir que c'est dans le club Lookéa! je n'ai pas eu la chambre que je voulais et lorsque je l'ai enfin récupéré j'ai eu beaucoup de souci : frigo qui ne fonctionne pas, douche qui ne s'évacue pas, pas d'internet... je pense que les installations sont à revoir sur cette partie de l'hÎtel.

All I can say is that Expedia hyped this place up. The name of the hotel doesn't match, it took our driver an hour to figure out it was the right place. Amenities are okay but when they promise a bilingual staff, it's not the case. Definitely fit the French persona - if you don't speak their language, good luck.

Subito qualche problema per trovare il residence visto che non esiste nessuna indicazione o insegna dato che Ăš gestito dall'hotel Carayou, se fosse stato indicato in fase di prenotazione sarebbe stato molto piĂč semplice. Buona la camera con il bagno dotato di un'ampia doccia mentre la toilette ha il difetto di avere la finestra senza possibilitĂ  di essere aperta, La kicinette Ăš praticamente un mobile sul balcone che contiene il frigo, il micro onde, il piano cottura elettrico e il lavello con stoviglie e qualche tegame. Purtroppo la mia camera al secondo piano (senza ascensore) aveva poca vista sulla marina. Gentilissime le signore alla reception, parcheggio sempre disponibile con servizio di sicurezza.

Great Location

First of all, there is no Hotel La Marina. Cab driver never heard of it. Hotel Carayou is the real name of this resort, but read on. You must give this name (Carayou) and check in at this location. Once there at Carayou insist on Hotel La Marina booking. Not knowing this (who would?) we were instead provided with a substandard room at the resort which we immediately refused noting that it did not include the promised kitchenette. We were then told (and only then) that they had made an error and that we would get the correct room in the nonexistent Hotel La Marina, but not until the next day as they had overbooked or something. The next day we were provided with the correct room in a building on the site secretly named La Marina. That name can only be found on the individual room doors that include the actual room number. All site signs have a different name for this building. This room was as promised and we were very satisfied from that point on. The resort is mostly filled with guests from France who have selected an all inclusive package with meals included. They are provided with an arm band identifying them as such. As a guest in the nonexistent Hotel La Marina you may use all of the resorts facilities excepting that you must pay for meals if you choose the site restaurant. While walking about the surrounding area we discovered only four Americans. We had a great time here and fault no one for speaking French. We muddled through.

Un reveillon 2016 inoubliable

Je n ai pas pu profiter du sejour par ce que l hotel n avait pas arreter les reservations sur internet. Ils nous on propose le relogement sur un autre site. L Hotel la Bateliere. On a refuse. A la place on a profite du menu du reveillon du jour de l an. C ete Super et on s est bien amuse. Je recommande la soiree de Saint Sylvestre. On a ete tres bien accueilli et tres bien mange. Le spectable et l ambiance etaient super!

Would recommend, felt quite safe

Was happy with everything but had booked and paid for a room for two with a kitchenette, this was not provided until we had re-iterated what our booking included. We were eventually given a room with a kitchen (was basically a cupboard) but certainly not what was shown on the booking!!
