This motel has been reported to the State of Tennessee Department of Health — Environmental Health Program. The conditions at the motel are horrendous, render it uninhabitable and hazardous to health; unfit for human occupancy. Our group left as fast as possible, toward the next motel after viewing the rooms; we could not stand the sight and smells. We stayed at the Motel 8 up the street.

Shower and bed linens were ok. Other than that, room key didn’t work, The only towel in the room was stained and cruddy looking. The office phone did not work, tv didn’t work, har dryer didn’t work. Mirrors and tv had a grimy haze on them . Curtains were very wrinkled and probably there for a long time. If I could have got a refund I would have left.

It was a non smoking room and there was cigarette burns in all the sheets and roaches. It looked like a scene out of a horror movie.

The staff was okay and nice, but things stop about there. The facility looks like it is has never seen a lawn cutting or bush trimming. Secondly, you must go to the front desk to obtain a power cord for the tv. Thirdly, the towels were so dirty and stained that I felt worst after a shower. Lastly, the dust in the room was more than forgetting to clean after a single customer. It was more like year(s) of never dusting.

Avoid! This motel looks nothing like the photos online. There were barely any lights and the 24 hr check in was a joke. The window was covered in old signs qnd you could only see the hole to slide your id. I checked in but was given a keycard w a number to a room we couldn't find. The rooms in the rear have not been upkept. Some doors just hanging open to the elements. We did not feel safe AT ALL. We ended up turning in our key and going down the road to super 8. Most of the guests at super 8 booked travel inn first. Its literally a way to get money bc no locals would stay. Drug addicts milling around really didn't add to the vibe. Since I checked in, even though we never found our room, I COULDN'T get refunded. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

The staff at this location when I checked in was FANTASTIC!!! She listened to my concerns and responded in kind. I would stay here again. Keep in mind it’s not a 5 star but it was well worth the price that I paid, and again the staff was FANTASTIC

Within minutes of entering we found a dead cockroach, as well as various stains that made it clear the room hadn’t been cleaned. We also felt unsafe due to the various people hanging around on staircases, who gave an off vibe. We left almost as soon as we arrived, and the motel staff were very obstinate, first refusing to let us leave, then refusing to give a refund. They blamed Expedia for pretty much everything bad that happened, claiming they were selling “deluxe rooms” for standard prices, but it’s clear that they just weren’t doing due diligence and were profiting off of it. Another group arrived and left at the same time as us, with a pretty much identical experience. I would not recommend anyone stay here, and do not trust the owners to turn things around.

Well compared to some other hotels in the area this one is a slight step up but still sketchy. People hanging out in shipping containers in the parking lot, police everywhere in the hotel lobby, parking lot and around all night and day. No working laundry facility as advertised and no bfast. Beds were ok and we didn’t die so there’s that.

This property was outright disgusting. Originally, I was put in a room that was not cleaned. The covers were on the floor, someone’s iced coffee from McDonald’s was on the table, the floor was disgusting, and the room smelled. I went back down to the main office and the front desk receptionist (Who is the property owners son) gave me a different room and said it clean. I finally got to my new room and it was also absolutely disgusting. The room smelled, the sheets had blood, feces, and urine stains and so did the pillow cases and ACTUAL pillows. The top of the actual bed cover had what looked to be like sperm all over it. I have videos for proof. Live roaches were crawling. The deadbolt to the door was broken and there were visible cracks, which made me feel unsafe. The property owner literally busted through my door and broke a part of the door. He apologized and went on. I did not feel safe, physically and hygiene wise. It was a nightmare. I paid $70.49 for a room for ONE night, and was out of there at least ONE hour after it was purchased.

this room was disgusting. shower walls were rotten, 2 big holes in shower wall that you could see into a maintenance room between rooms,shower curtian had stains on it , towel rack was torn off of wall,sheets had spots on them, room had a musty smell, chair in room was wet, trim going into shower on floor was missing. the only postive think i could say was they had good water pressure in shower. travelers beware of this motel.

Not stocked, no one at desk to help...

We had no towels but like two washcloths, no toilet paper (then when we went to the front to get some there was no one at the desk - so after waiting a few minutes my fiancé went into the men's main rest room and took a roll) and our room had cockroaches (we killed one by the TV). We stayed here before a few years ago and had no issues but will not be returning next year when we go back to Kingsport.
