“The rooms were very clean. The bed was very hard so if you like a soft bed this won’t do. The breakfast on both mornings were very poor burnt toast served with over cooked bacon. On the first morning hash browns left off the order. Ordered poached eggs on toast given one egg on a piece of toast nothing along side it to dress the plate very sad looking. “Great local character- clearly a well loved neighborhood place with congenial, family favoured pub! Terrific (large and tasty traditional) breakfast included. One drawback was much softer bed than I am used to. There is a shared bathroom that worked fine for me but might dissuade some. The location between Penzance and Marazion provides easy bus and walking access to both places. (Note that the morning bus is longer than usual due to its routing past local schools.)
