“Ancient history, located in the middle of an old fishing village. The staff helpful and friendly. The area in the bar/restaurant was quite dark. The key hole to the room was too near the door frame, making it difficult to use.”

“Great location, nice room excellent breakfast”

“This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.”

“Superb guesthouse in convenient location close to city centre. Close to bus routes too. Very accommodating owners. Lovely, clean room with everything you could ask for. Brilliant continental breakfast including cereals, pastries, toast, fruit/fruit salad, cheese and yoghurts. Cake and hot drinks also available during the day. Communal fridge is useful to keep your own food fresh. Really lovely experience with amazing hosts. Highly recommended!”

“Property lives up to the description. The setting is charming and it was cute to be woken up by the sound of chickens. Would happily stay again. I didn’t meet the hosts but they provided such thorough information via email that I found everything.”
