“Breakfast and service was excellent but the room was severely lacking in storage. The wardrobe had a hanging rail too high for most women to reach and there was no other place to put other clothes, or flat surface for the usual items. Hopefully this will be addressed in an otherwise pleasant hotel”

“Fabulous pub with rooms in a perfect location for the castle, canal basin and a wander around the local shops. Onsite parking made for an easy arrival. Every member of staff was super friendly, efficient and helpful. Receiving a flask of fresh milk was a great touch too. Breakfast was delicious and liked the local provenance. “Inadequate parking despite statement that parking was available Cramped room”

“A little gem in the heart of Hebden Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were polite and helpful. As vegans, it was lovely to have oat milk included as standard with the tea and coffee items in our room, and the vegan breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely return.”

“Stayed for one night in a double room. Ok size for price, clean and all amenities supplied, tea, coffee, iron, iron board and toiletries. But noisy next to the road but ok after 10pm.”

“Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus. We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer.”
