I highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast! It is amazingly clean and the staff is great! Breakfast is on point every day and it is located right at the perfect part of the town where you can enjoy peace and quiet, but still walk where you need to go. Walking distance to the beach and all the downtown shopping but the wraparound porch allows. You to have quiet time when you want it. I highly recommend this place.!!! This is now my fifth year staying there and I love it.

Sylvan Inn was an AMAZING stay! Beck was a gracious, kind, and extremely helpful host. Breakfasts were delicious and tried to meet dietary needs (exchanged eggs for yogurt, added eggs when more protein was needed, etc.). The room was delightful- clean and so cozy. Tea, water, and coffee were available. Great location- within eye sight of several good restaurants and ice cream, walking distance from beach access, and minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes. Overall a wonderful stay!

The innkeeper was attentive and the inn is centrally located, so it was easy to walk Glen Arbor and enjoy the area. This is a quaint older inn with grace and charm. The wrap-around porch was perfect for morning coffee and a great quiet cozy place to read a book, even when it was raining. Overall, a wonderful respite from our busy life.
