The room was nice although I've had just as nice a lower priced hotels. Great Wolf is geared for entraining children. The water park is for kids. It is expensive at $320 a night, plus $20 to park your car ( was I supposed to walk ther?).

The lifeguards have really upped their game!! They are very watchful and they are constantly counting how many people are in a certain area. I really appreciate that as most water parks don’t do that. Everything was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The whole lodge is cashless, so come prepared. We also were unaware of the cost of parking at the lodge ($20 + 1.20 tax for each night) until we left and were sent an invoice. You are each given wrist bands instead of room keys and they have the option to be activated as a method of tap to pay while you’re in the lodge. You do not have to activate any or all of your bands. Overall a pleasant stay, housekeeping brought extra washcloths to the room unfolded and in a small clean trash bag.

My family has stayed at this location beginning in 2013. We have always parked in the parking lot while we PAID A LOT of money for our room each night. That was always fine because we had young children. This year, 2026, my husband and I decided to return to where we had so many good memories. Not the same place anymore. We booked our stay through Expedia and paid $1560 for 5 nights. However, when we check in, there is a "parking fee"!! $20! per night....wait, in order to stay at your hotel 99% of people have a vehicle to drive. So, I was FORCED to pay another $130 to PARK to stay at their hotel also. I will not be back.

I really enjoyed Tracy in the restaurant. She was so very fun to talk to and was excellent at her job. She's a hard worker with a wonderful attitude. All of the staff was kind and always offered us help, even our in the parking lot. A young man was on his way in in the morning and hadn't even clocked in yet and he asked me if I needed help with my bags. Everyone was very kind. I so appreciated it. It made my stay so enjoyable.

I had a decent stay. However I had 2 separate charges on my credit card that I had to give for the normal room incidentals. I asked the staff about it, who told me it would then be taken off as long as everything was ok when I left. I checked out with no incident and later had a charge in my card. When I called to ask about it, I was told that it was a nightly parking fee. This was never mentioned nor was it publicized. I can understand the charge, but not if you aren’t going to disclose after I specifically ask about it.
