The atmosphere is just perfect! The stillness of the water! Patio, large wrap around porch for guests. Docks, picnic tables etc We enjoyed our coffee. The honeymoon cottage was so cute! Clean as a whistle!! Every provision was there! Highly recommend

My wife and I were a little bit concerned when we were headed to the resort. Mostly about air conditioning which our room had and it appeared all the other rooms we saw had as well. Staff was great! Very helpful! Enjoyed the porch for evening drinks and morning coffee.

We had an amazing experience at Fountain Point Resort! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy some quality time, and make great memories. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Fountain View Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

A great spot near Traverse City.

A wonderful spot on a wonderful lake, one that has clear, calm water, and is very quiet. The resort is old, but very cool, with a lot of history and a great sense of spirit. Lots of free amenities like kayaks and paddleboards, and very nice old school cozy cottages.

What an amazing Resort! Full of history and old charm. Beautiful huge covered porch that faces the lake. A perfect location for relaxing, reading or enjoying a beverage with friends. Huge spacious common rooms in the hotel building. Wonderful pictures of days gone by. I will definitely come back.

Staff was so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was very small but clean. Lots of stuff to do. Main house had lots of room to and all kinds of board games. They also have canoes and kayaks. Even though our cabin was tiny, being able to go to the huge main house made it nicer. The house is on the Historic Registry and beautiful with a huge wrap-around porch with comfy chairs. Would definitely return!

Lovely stay. No tv or a/c but didn’t miss it. Stayed in the house on second floor. It’s like stepping back in time. Lots of antiques and so much charm. On the lake with plenty of things to do or just sit on the porch rocking enjoying good conversation with family. Very clean room and bathrooms;staff was helpful and kind.

This resort is straight out of the Dirty Dancing movie. The quaint property is like a time capsule from an earlier era. Our third-floor room was clean, quiet, and relaxing. I enjoyed a nice afternoon lounging at the beach as families played in the water. The staff members were friendly and easily accommodated a last-minute change to our itinerary. Please read the property description so you know what you're getting. We did and were not disappointed.

No where in the Expedia booking or the hotel website did it mention that the hotel rooms didn't have bathrooms. They are shared. We waited 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in, and she told us nothing about the resort. Now there appears to be a credit card issue with multiple charges and credits hitting my account. Would not recommend this place.

We had a great time because we love being outside in the grounds and the lake . We wished we had a bathroom in our bedroom but maybe next time . Had a very relaxing week .
