Great quiet place to stay

First time in area so we didn’t know what to expect. Facility was in a shaded park like setting with a fire pit and easy access to a private beach. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nostalgia

An older road side hotel that has been updated. Super friendly owners. Lovely small rooms from a bygone era. Perfect for a quiet night on a bicycle trip while a cold front pushed through.

What a great find! Convenient to Traverse Bay & Elk Rapids. Love the 60s vibe! Cozy room, but updated to 2025 amenities. Wonderful fire pit area to unwind at night. Walking distance to beach. We will be back!

Nice motel with good scenery and good coffee in the office in the morning if somebody is there. The in room coffee was standard hotel issue. Heat didn't work at first but the desk person reset it and then it was OK. Large outdoor firepit with chairs and I think they had wood. Peaceful and quiet.
