Vacations Close To Traffic Circle Shopping Center

When we checked in we were told this would be the only place we'd want to stay when we visit Savannah. They were correct. This is an amazing hotel. We opted for the 1 bedroom apartment and loved every minute of it. It was cozy and welcoming. Very clean and organized. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you want to do in Savannah. We parked our vehicle upon check-in and didn't move the vehicle until we left. Our next Savannah trip will most definitely include The Ann!

The hotel is right on the river front which was nice as there were plenty of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was clean and well appointed and the pillows weren't flat! Another plus, free Klondike bars in the kitchens freezer. Nice touch.

We really like the location, just two blocks off Forsyth park and easy to walk to Bull st. and all the shops and restaurants. They have just enough off-street parking so we don't worry about the car. Breakfast is light, but plenty of coffee is always available!

The hotel was very nice overall. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very dated and dim but clean. The location was the best amenity. Our room was described as a two queen balcony river view, which saying it had a balcony was a stretch. The balcony was so tiny and had loose wood. It felt unsafe with even one person on it, and there was no room for more than one or even a chair. There are were inexplicably soft boards right inside the balcony door, which you had to pass to get to the bathroom. It was very disorienting to be stepping onto boards that sink as you walk to/from the bathroom in the dark. The room had very few outlets and the outlets on the light didn’t work. This was frustrating with a cpap, since we had to crawl under the bed and unplug the light to have a functional outlet. The location of the room was convenient, but there are 3 rooms (417, 419, and 421) that are all in the main hallway between the check in desk and every other room in the west wing and right by the valet stand, the bellman’s closet, and the gift shop. The room is poorly insulated and we could hear every word of every conversation in the hallway, whether it was guests or employees. This included the front desk worker coming down to yell at the valet worker at nearly 11pm, when we were already in bed. It also included being woken up at 4am by an early departing couple where the wife was yelling at her husband to make sure he remembered his teeth. Would stay here again but not in this room

Frustrating Wedding Weekend - Major Operational Issues I stayed at The Kimpton Brice (Oct 16-19) for a wedding hosted on-site. While the staff is friendly, major operational failures meant the exorbitant amount we paid did not match what we received in any shape or form. • Check-In & Parking: Arrived at 4:30 PM. Despite needing to get ready for a 6 PM rehearsal, our room wasn't ready until 5:32 PM. We couldn't valet until checked in, forcing us to use street parking on the river side (which is actually cheaper). • Credits & Breakfast: Our rehearsal dinner bill could only be split 4 ways, so we couldn't use our $20 daily credits. The bride/groom had to pay the bill. Worse, the $50/day breakfast package we paid for was unusable due to a 45-60 min wait from severe understaffing. • Wedding Reception: The wedding ended at 4:30 PM, but reception bartenders refused to serve until 5 PM, forcing guests to buy drinks at the main bar. The steak/salmon was mediocre, and we had to cut steak with butter knives. Dirty dishes, cups, and ceremony chairs were left scattered in the garden from Saturday until Monday checkout. • Group & Property Issues: 5-6 other couples had check-in delays or incorrect rooms with zero compensation. Also, thin walls meant hearing dog fights and constant barking at all hours. The frontline staff tried their best, but management's conflicting rules made what should have been a celebratory weekend incredibly stressful.

Bar in lobby was very expensive for having limited wine selection. $24 for glass of low grade wine is ridiculous.
