A good place to rest

The Irish beauty at check in makes the price of admission worth it alone. Could listen to her all day. Otherwise, good stay, right across from beach and walk. Quiet and comfortable.

This was our 2nd stay at Big 4 Tasman Parks, Rowes Bay in an En-suite Studio. The staff are always welcoming, the bed’s very comfy, the studio is extremely clean and the gardens in the park itself are beautifully kept. We love the location, across from the beach for a late afternoon or early morning walk. Will definitely stay next year when in Cairns again.

Ensuite Studio Cabin too small

We had an Ensuite Studio Cabin which was very tiny for two adults. There was no space to put our suitcase, and no hot plate or oven. The cabin was very noisy as it was situated next to the pool and basketball court. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Choose a larger cabin for a more comfortable stay.

It was close to the activities in the park like tennis court, playground and pool. Very comfortable and quiet stay. TV- the Netflix didn't work at all in my cabin maybe should asked for help with that. As we only had LiveTV. Will next time if happens again on our stay. Definitely needs a little bit of an update on equipment for older kids (8-10 year old.)

Nice beachside location.

Nice location, enjoyed walks along the waterfront, relaxing pool, cabin was comfortable with nice, quality bathroom supplies. Only let down was that the fire alarm decided to go off during the middle of the night for no apparent reason.

Cabin is small but comfortable and clean. Has mini fridge. Staff are great. Has complete Facilities. Swimming pool and playground are great for kids.

Cabin needed some repairs, with glass entry and screen door rolling shut as floors are on a slope, shower screen seal needs replacing, bed mattress uncomfortable, fly screens have holes, but location is great and park features good with kids play area, pool and small laundry.

Good cabin and looked exactly like the pictures. The cabin had a little bit of dust and dirt but not overly bad. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Only issue was I parked in my allocatted bay but when I returned later that night it was taken by someone elses van. Not the staffs fault im assuming

We stayed in B03 and unfortunately the cabin hadn’t been cleaned to an appropriate standard. It was missing a fourth fork, the cupboard floor was dirty, the kitchen shelving had bread crumbs scattered at the back of it and the chairs inside hadn’t been wiped down. When we arrived, there were two minute noodles and rubbish at the door step. The fire alarm went off twice through the night for no obvious reason and the air conditioning unit was making noises that made it hard to sleep. The pool and scenery across the road made up for some of the lacklustre of the unit.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night but the bins hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests and there was no air conditioning/fan running when we arrived so it wasn’t pleasant. The fridge was leaking water and destroyed quite a bit of food overnight. The air conditioner wouldn’t adjust so it was either freezing cold or boiling hot and the tv remote barely worked. When we were preparing to leave, we also found someone else’s shoes still in the cabin. There were also only three plates in the cupboard. The bed was comfortable and it is well located.
