The balcony had spider webs and dried berries all over the patio. I requested it be cleaned, but all they did was put it all into one bunch still on the patio. Breakfast didn’t offer much. Nice motel with a great view. People very nice. Big open lots for your dogs. We paid $120 for two nights just to cover our dogs being able to come. Kinda pricey. Overall, enjoyed the location and staff was nice.

Excellent property with a large, comfortable, clean room. Loved the location in Townsend, the peaceful side of the Great Smokey Mountains! Access to the national park was quick and convenient. We loved our stay here and enjoyed excellent coffee at the Artistic Bean and dinners at The Abbey and Peaceful Side Social, all within walking distance from the property.

I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.
