The reception person, Marine, was extremely helpful and personable. She provided all pertinent information and advice on meal options in the area which were very limited. Good as an overnight stay close to airport. Big plus they provide a free shuttle service commencing at 6 am.

When we arrived, we had know problems booking in and the receptionist was very helpful giving us information relating to services available within the hotel. Our room was very clean and tidy, with no issues. The bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower, with toiletries supplied. The breakfast consisted of a good choice of foods, ranging from cooked to continental. Overall very impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the hotel, with very helpful staff. Plus they laid on a free bus transfer to the airport.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express went well, and we found the staff helpful. In general, the hotel is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express: i.e., a fine place to spend the night with rather typical rooms and amenities. They had ice machines, though the one on our floor did not work. The rooms lacked some amenities, e.g., actual glass glasses (e.g., for wine), but the person at the bar was happy to give us wine glasses. Breakfast was good. There is a small fee for parking.
