This is one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The only issue is no lift to that floor but the desk clerk was very willing to help with our bags. The room was very comfortable, cool to my standards(being an American) and the village of Torun is absolutely charming. I throughly enjoyed my visit there and intend to return to both the village and hotel.

All feels quite new and it’s a good value option. There are odd quirks everywhere such as the phone with the 100W LED that illuminates the bedroom day and night, the variable sound isolation, the restaurant tables that are inexplicably about a foot too high…. Service was variable, unusually for Poland. The restaurant attached has some pretensions and innovative dishes that are universally terrible, do avoid.

“Brand New” hotel at great location

The place has been completely renovated and is in pristine shape! Rooms are basic and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Don’t miss making use of their relaxation area (sauna and massage chairs). The place is convenient located in the outskirts of Torun New Town.

Good to stay as a business trip

Location: at the old town, restaurants, groceries stores nearby. Staff: nice, friendly and quick check in. Wifi: good and stable. Room: spacious, clean, comfortable. Breakfast: various choices and good quality food. Bad: AC wasn't worked properly at night, too warm to me. I went to reception and the lady reset the system for me.

A step back in time

We stayed four nights in the Hotel Eter when we were in town for the World Masters Athletics track meet. The room was very nice, and the maid service was daily. (You cannot count on that any more.) The medieval city center is just too cool! Torun has TWO museums dedicated to the making of gingerbread! There are a number of good restaurants, all within walking distance.

Our room was awesome, but getting in and out ...not so great. This property does not have an elevator that goes to the second floor. That's a problem if you arrive with heavy luggage. I didn't like the parking lot located couple of blocks away and no valet service...that's another problem. Otherwise the place was very nice and clean.
