The location couldn’t be better just minutes from Capitol Reef National Park with incredible red rock views in every direction. We loved the unique accommodations, peaceful atmosphere, and relaxing amenities after long days of hiking. Watching the sunset from the property and stargazing at night made the experience even more special. If you’re visiting Capitol Reef, this is a fantastic place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Southern Utah.

We stayed in the motel but next time we are staying in a teepee or wagon! The motel is a little worn but met our needs. The attached restaurant was surprisingly good and the portions are large. I had the best pancakes for breakfast that I’ve had in a long time. The best part of the stay was sitting around the fire pit in the evening, looking at the teepees and wagons glow.

It was outdated. The pictures online make it better than it really is. The bathroom was very small- hard to fit in the room. Very noisy room- could hear neighboring rooms and plumbing running. Highlight: Very close to Capitol Reef National Park. Excellent restaurant nearby: Hunt and Gather- would highly recommend for dinner.
