Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

My little boy (7) and I have just come back from a wonderful half term week at The Cimon & I could not recommend it enough. A quick stroll to the beach, offering plenty of eateries, with options for all. The pool was an absolute god send as the weather was just perfect. Julia & Jamie were so lovely & helpful offering lots of ideas in and around Torquay. We will definitely return.

A really cracking hotel, nothing too much trouble for the owners who had thought of minor details to ensure a good experience. Would definitely stay here again, location good, plenty of parking and a good breakfast.

I was at The Cimon for a brief stay but would highly recommend it. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. The room was spotless clean and well equipped with a very comfort bed and nice linens. The breakfast the following morning was first class!

The Cimon was exactly as you see in the pictures. Stylish clean rooms with a fantastic sea view. The pool not only looked amazing with a tropical vibe to rival any foreign get away, it was amazing and warm! The weather just made it perfect. Highly recommend Cimon

I would highly recommend a stay at Cimon, great location walkable to everything, free parking, very comfortable accommodation. The hosts are very helpful with some great tips. The pool looks fab for the warmer days, we’ll be back to try it on a future stay!

Wonderful Home to Explore Torquay!

The Cimon is run by Julia and Jamie and is a 12-room B&B that is comfy, cozy and feels like you are staying at their home (you are!). My friend Kim and I stayed two nights so we could explore all things Agatha Christie, and Julia recommended a stellar tour guide Graham who really made our trip, and Jamie recommended an excellent seafood spot (No. 7 Fish Bistro/Wine Bar). The common areas include a swimming pool and patio for the summer months and a conservatory for breakfast and happy hour cocktails made with local spirits. The rooms and lounges are comfy and have everything you need. The Cimon is within walking distance or a short cab ride to everything you want to see and do in Torquay. Highly recommend and thank you Julia and Jamie for such a welcoming stay!

Fabulous little hotel within perfect walking distance to the harbour/marina. Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Great breakfast in the morning, the local bacon and sausages were DELICIOUS!! Spacious free car park too. Really pleased we found this place, believe all the reviews! Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Torquay ❤️

What a fantastic hotel , we stayed in the room with a balcony with a brilliant view. This hotel comes with an outside heated swimming pool towels provide and planty of outside sitting to enjoy the sun . free parking , a slow 10 minute stroll to the sea front Breakfast was very nice and the hosts was very friendly and welcoming .would definitely recommend this beautiful place

Nice clean swimming pool 1.4m deep, heated to 28/29°C. Nicely cooked breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruit and croissants. The hotel is at the top of a hill which is a bit of a pain if on foot with mobility issues but fortunately the number 12 bus stops not too far away at the Central Church allowing a short walk back on more level ground. The compact room is big enough for 2 with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The seagul dawn chorus reminds you that you are at the seaside but that is the same wherever you are in Torquay. There is plenty of choice nearby for places to eat and drink from fish and chips through Italian and tapas. Overall a pleasurable stay.

I really can't fault the Cimon, we had a fantastic stay here. Julia and Jamie were so welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. All of the staff took the time to talk to us, one even offering to cut up my daughter's breakfast for her. They all made a fuss of my little girl who absolutely loved Jamie and is still talking about him playing with her toy cheetah. The pool made it for us (especially to cool down on arrival after travelling) and it had such a lovely well kept garden which was very pleasant to sit in with flowers, plants and comfortable patio furniture. Julia's breakfast was so good and she used chives from her own garden. The omelette was especially good! My daughter certainly took advantage of helping herself to lots of breakfast! We loved seeing all the different cacti around the guest house. Everyday we looked at the puzzle on the table coming together to create a picture of the guest house. My daughter also enjoyed playing with a gruffalo puzzle in the lounge area. The rooms have everything you need and were clean with tea, coffee and biscuits refilled daily. The beds were comfortable and we preferred staying in smaller accommodation. It was quieter at night than previous larger hotels we've stayed in and we could get a good night's sleep. We've really enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Cimon to anyone! We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely holiday :)
