This is a beautiful hotel with charm and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed here 4 times and hope to have more visits, which would be easier if we lived closer. The staff are extremely friendly and the grounds are amazing to walk around. Absolutely beautiful and well kept building situated in a lovely part of Devon. Well worth to see well worth taking part two for a romantic time away.

Nice quiet location - lovely comfortable and plush communal lounge with roaring fire. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Dinner and breakfast top notch with an excellent range of choice. A definite go back to hotel. Only gripe was no lift.

Second visit and will be back again. A really wonderful hotel for a peaceful and relaxing break. Near to Torquay and nearby villages, but a charming and secret hideaway with great food and friendly and attentive staff.

Great hotel and the staff were excellent. The hotel restaurant is superb. The breakfast is very good and great value. The dinner menu is exceptionally good as is the service. Nice quiet location but Teignmouth and Torquay are easily accessible by car or bus.

Fantastic stay. Staff are friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The room was beautiful, and the bed was really comfortable. The food is beautiful…pre booking is essential, especially dinner as the restaurant is very popular.

Great hotel.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a comfortable nights stay at this excellent hotel. Great sea views from our room and the evening meal and breakfast both proved to be first class. By no means a cheap stay but still good value if you want to mark a special occasion. Highly recommended!
