This is a great boutique hotel however the downside is that there is no parking , no gym or amenities for the price tag. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfy , the bathroom are excellent.

Funky little boutique hotel with well-appointed rooms and tons of flavour. All the practical amenities you need among art installations and moody decor. Parking is the only tricky bit, but there is a large parking garage very close by on the nearest side street. We would definitely stay at the Drake again.

My favourite hotel in Toronto and if you want more of a local hipster vibe this is a great choice. It is not a typical hotel and the rooms on the older side of the hotel are better suited to a single traveller as the rooms are small. It can be a little loud on weekends from people being out and enjoying nightlife around the hotel but that’s part of the fun in my mind. Lots of great restaurants around and their own cafe is great (albeit note business travellers, open a little later in the morning). If you want to know the real Toronto this is a great choice.

The staff at the drake were very helpful at all hours of the day. Received a complimentary upgrade in the classic wing that was spacious. The lobby was a great place to work remotely, with a conference room that had tables with built in charger. Only feedback to provide was noticeable water damage on the ceilings inside the room, and the cafe music was quite loud from our room.

Excellent time - the only thing was the parking but it was an amazing overall experience. The restaurant was awesome, they were well prepared for travelling with my dog. The staff were very nice & it's such a cute hotel. The walk in the neighbourhood is lovely also.

I love this hotel so much! This is a stylish art hotel without being overly trendy, just understated style featuring original art works throughout. The staff is FABULOUS, the rooms are beautifully designed and the beds are extremely comfortable. The cafe is a great spot to grab a fresh, high-quality bite to eat on the lovely patio and the lounge is a lively spot for cocktails. Located in the heart of the funky West Queen West neighborhood (the Greenpointe Brooklyn of Toronto, if you’d like), this is a very walkable location with tons of cool bars, excellent restaurants, and independent shops nearby, and it’s also a good base for exploring other parts of Toronto without staying in the city centre in the highly trafficked/touristed areas. For a more local/artsy vibe, this is the place! And if you have a chance to book the 2-bed rooftop suite, you will NOT be disappointed—you won’t want to leave your private patio (great for entertaining if you’re traveling with a group or have other friends in town). Thank you for such a phenomenal stay and such great hospitality!
