Very clean and spacious property and the bed was comfortable. The cafe/coffee shop was excellent. The shower drain was plugged up, but management quickly remedied it. Some countertop end caps were damaged and missing. Vehicle noise wasexcessivenoise

Good stay in central Topeka

Clean and spacious two bedroom, two bathroom suite accomodated our family needs perfectly for two nights. It also had a full kitchen and washer/dryer for stays of longer duration. Located right next to Washburn University. The cafe in the bottom of the building had friendly service and a great breakfast. The bedroom closest to the street had some street noise, but pretty quiet through most of the night.

It’s right on a very busy street corner and super noisy all night. The furniture was trash and the area seemed unsafe.

This was a perfect property for me. We produced an event at the Expo and this was close, clean and spacious. It’s so nice to have a kitchen and laundry, because we spend a lot of time on the road. We will definitely book again. If you are light sleeper the street noise might bother you a little, but this was not an issue for our crew.

Not going to complain about the property but a bad guest. Fight outside my room and the next night shots fired. We stayed till early evening but was definitely gone before dark. Uneasy feeling but i feel it was out of the managements control

The property is nice it was former apartments, parking is good, 3 floors, exterior entrance, no elevator, it's is on a busy corner, so depending on the room traffic noise could be an issue

Great family stay!

We stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit. This suite is roomy and practical for a family stay. The kitchen has very basic supplies; a Keurig machine, oven, microway dishwasher, in-unit laundry, dishes, silverware, glasses, cups and a knife. No small appliances such as a blender, no potholders or dishtowels. But aside from those minor details, the unit and the stay was perfect for us. There is a cafe' onsite. They serve breakfast & coffees at 7am and lunch & drinks (including beer) during the day; prices are reasonable. The food and drinks are really good! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment in a sketchy area. The blinds were damaged, no toilet paper holder and our bathroom door doesn't close. It's new but needs some love. This is a bad location.

Loved the space and design. We had a few issues. There are no curtains, so when the sun came up, we woke up. The fan wasn't working in one of the bathrooms. There were no garbage cans in the restrooms and we found a bug in the unit

We were unable to stay here because we were not aware there was no check in after 11pm. We picked up some one off a international flight and had to scramble to get another room. This was a non-refundable room so we are unable to get a refund

Horrible, dirty hotel

The sheets had not been washed, yellow stains on them with hair and I got bed beds just from sitting on the chair, the owner told me that I "planted" the dirty sheet after she acknowledged it was dirty, in order to get a refund which I have not gotten, and said she would never take responsibility for that. She raised her voice at me and didn't believe anything I was telling her. She walked away from me and that was all.

Up sides - I was visiting my son who attends Washburn University, so the location was incredibly convenient for this purpose. The hotel is a converted apartment complex and you can expect something with that feel - I got a one-bedroom apartment with a comfortable living space, kitchen with appliances, washer/dryer in the room. WiFi is available. A decent coffee house is on site which is a nice perk if you are a coffee drinker. Down sides - Hotel staff is not always on site but seem to be accessible by phone call if needed. Extras like pool and workout rooms are not a part of the package. There is pretty consistent automobile traffic that goes by so it can get noisy if you're sensitive to sounds. These issues were not important to me but might be to others so I thought I'd include them.

nowhere on the listing, did it say that when you chose to pay when you check in that they would not accept cash. Who in their right mind doesn’t take cash? they said the only reason they wouldn’t take cash is because they didn’t have anywhere to put it. technically cash is legal tender. they also would not work with us on taking two forms of payment meaning two credit cards or two debit cards. even asked if they would take a credit card over the phone from spouse at first they said yes then right before we started putting it in, they change their minds and said no. again, completely uncooperative and unworkable ridiculous. I do not recommend these people at all.

Loved the stay. Nice and spacious. Better than being couped up in a hotel room. One issue though is our card was charged 2 pre authorization charges. We were told there was nothing they could do until check out when it would run just the run through. Well after checking out. There still remains a pre authorization charge on the account. Which actually overdrew our account while there. So also left is scrambling on how to pay for other things we needed the $200 plus for. Was also told we weren't the only room this happened with by the front desk lady. She had no idea why it was happening. "Something weird happened during audit last night" that's what she told. Well upon now looking at Google reviews from a month ago. This is a reoccurring issue. Wouldn't stay here again unless there was guarantee that wouldn't happen again. Especially since they don't take cash. When I first showed up I asked to pay in cash and they said no they only took card. Well I see why now, because they like to pay with people's money. Everything else about the stay was great. But when it comes to someone's hard earned money, you shouldn't mess with it.

This is a repurposed apartment, which meant that our room was literally the biggest hotel suite that we've ever been in. We really appreciate the proximity to Washburn University as well.
