The Exchange Hotel was in a good location. The food was amazing, and the serves were extremely generous. The bed was one of the most comfortable I had ever slept on, and we had a very large balcony area.
Nice food. Room was good. We were thete on a week day and it was quiet.

Business trip.
Good sized single room with enough of the basics ( Tv, Fridge, microwave, sink ) to stay comfortable for my entire stay. Very large & clean shared bathrooms & a clean kitchen for preparing own meals. Will stay again when in town next & have recommended family to book when visiting next also.

One night whilst travelling
Comfortable room in a character building. Quiet place.
The room we had was a good size with a private bathroom. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room as well as access to a shared kitchen. Well priced for our budget. Nice old country pub atmosphere.
Nice character country hotel. Very convenient for Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Good reasonably priced meals and good selection of beers. Common area kitchen had a selection of breakfast cereals available.
Drafty bathroom in our en-suite room might be nice in summer but definitely not in winter when we were there.
We stayed in the family room. It was far larger and exceeded our expectations from photos. A queen plus two single beds in one air conditioned room (beds and linen were very comfortable) and then a separate tv/kitchen/dining area. We enjoyed big, delicious meals in the beer garden. Facilities were clean, shower was hot and staff all friendly. Great value. Would recommend.

The bar person was new and didn’t know where my room was so no help with checking in.One bathroom for 8 rooms. The rooms and bathroom were nicely renovated. Only stayed one night even though I had paid for two nights for two people and I was on my own. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Best hotel pub I have stayed in! We stayed in Room 4 which was on the second floor above the public bar with access to our own private area on the front balcony (directly over the green Thirsty Camel sign in hotel picture). Even though the dining area and public bar were busy and noisy, we had no noise at all. The bedroom was spacious and we loved the balcony so much! Big bed, handy fridge and microwave and sink in room. Bathroom was just down the hall and we had access to the breakfast bar in the morning. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. We couldnt find the remote for our tv, but the staff were excellent and supplied us with a temporary one from another room. The meals in the outdoor beer garden were huge and we loved the atmosphere out the back with the big TV and lovely decorative garden lighting. We were passing through during a 3 day hike along the BVRT and this was an excellent stopping point for a good night rest. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.
