It is a haunted hotel!!! We had no idea when we booked, but we got there and they had ghost tours where you can learn the history of the town and the building. The inside is beautiful; it is like being taken back in time. The ghost tour was creepy enough, and there is definitely something in there: beware!! We had a great time and stayed in room 512 (no activity in there, thankfully!). The staff recommended the Strawberry Hill diner up the street. We went to the Strawberry Hill Diner and it was great! Tonopah is such a cool town!

Memorable stay in a well-maintained historic building. The ac rattled but nights are cool in Tonopah and so we simply turned it off for sleep. Tonopah is an interesting town. We used Tonopah as a resupply center after four nights camping in California and another six nights camping awaiting us in Great Basin Nat'l Park. Mizpah came through as a comfortable way-station as we traveled across Nevada.
