Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.

The manager was lovely and showed us around the room and let us know any key things we needed to know. The room was absolutely lovely, proper cosy country vibes and loved the special touch of a large bottle of sparkling and still water and cookies in our room. Would highly recommend as place to stay!

Lovely cosy hotel with loads of history and great location. Room was clean, if a bit cramped and bed comfortable. A mirror other than the one in the bathroom would have been Lovely friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Cosy Penshurst hotel.

A fantastic 2 night stay in Penshurst. Hotel is really cosy and tastefully decorated. Open fires in bar area. We ate in the restaurant both breakfast and dinner and both were excellent. Great base for touring the local area which had a lot to offer.
