Staff were very friendly, and great change of pace from the usual hotel experience. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, even to my high standards. The breakfast scones were the best i have ever had.

Great experience in a beautiful historic home with antiques in every spot. Accommodations very comfortable and hosts wonderful. Breakfast with delicious scones and quiche at the Mathis House was wonderful and special.

The Huddy House was the best experience I have had lately with traveling. The house and rooms are beautiful and elegant. Our host offered us free treats and drinks, as well as beach towels and chairs to use on our beach trip. We were given a free breakfast which had the most delicious scone I have ever had! I would recommend the Huddy House over a hotel any day. You wont regret a stay here.

The owner was hands on, very accommodating. There was a large classy sports bar/restaurant across the street with exceptional food and televisions everywhere for U.S. sports fans. Absolutely loved my stay and will be back!

They came in despite a “do not disturb” sign, failed to communicate with me my instructions on how to access the room— including leaving me on read to where my husband had to repeatedly call in order to get a curt answer (the instructions they gave him led me to opening an occupied room where I was haphazardly put into a different room). Aside from the poor communication, the facility itself is a gem.
