The Toyoko Inn was good for my partner and I. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is due to the hotel being a little dated and the stations with the more usual lines being a fair trot away (10 mjns walk).

Lovely staff that spoke great English! Very simple check in and check out process. Everyone at the desk was very friendly. The room itself is small and the bed is a little hard but the place and area is very clean and convenient. They have free breakfast and let you leave your suitcase there for the day if needed. No suitcase overnight. We would definitely stay again!

Simple accommodations but very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to several major train lines. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff who prepared great meals to fuel you for long days and nights of exploring Tokyo. Had the opportunity to stay here for a week my first time in Tokyo. The staff are wonderful, and having a breakfast and cup of coffee ready in the morning was great. Nothing fancy but a great jumping off point for your adventures.

A good budget hotel. You get what you pay for. The rooms are small but clean and quiet. Breakfast changes daily and the area has lots of options for dining and entertainment. Only downside is the beds and mattress were definately on the hard side. I prefer a softer one. If you're walking from Shinjuku station it is on an incline of you have a lot of luggage.

Everything was excellent until it was time to leave the unit. Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and clean, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. However, my main concern was the elevator situation. Around 9:50 AM on our check-out day, we waited 15–20 minutes on the 4th floor, as every elevator that arrived was completely full. We were effectively stuck, and unfortunately, the stairwell was locked and not accessible to guests. While we understand it was a busy time, stair access should always be available. A 15–20 minute wait for an elevator is unacceptable, especially when guests have time-sensitive commitments like flights or shuttle services.
