Excellent location! The train station is just 10 minutes in car from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and markets close by. The room had a laundry machine which is quite helpful for a family. The room was always cool and that is a must in August.

Nice hotel right down the street from Ueno station. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Staff was very friendly. They had a laundry room and coffee machine in the lobby. Room was not as small as I thought it would be so we had plenty of room to move around. Would recommend.

We enjoyed a great stay in an excellent location. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. They have spare toiletries available as well as a decent coffee system that is available 24 hours. The small laundry facility is also very useful and we enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet that had both Japanese and Western food choices. The rooms are small, very small, so that is something to consider if that is important to you. We couldn't really unpack but for our short stay this location is fantastic and worked very well for our needs.

Staffs are very helpful, we had a problem with our luggage transfer and they kept contacting the company until they are able to contact a person to locate our luggage. They provide new towels, bathrobes and water bottles everyday. Free toiletries, coffee/tea/hot chocolate and crackers in the lobby. Hotel room is clean but small space which is typical for most of Japan hotel rooms. The hotel is just across the Ameyoko market. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Just 3 minutes walk to Ueno station.
