The Gate hotel in Asakusa is a great option in Tokyo! The location is wonderful - only a few steps away from the temple and shopping and metro stations. Very easy to get around. The lobby is excellent and offers great views of the city. The rooms are kind of small but they are clean and very quiet. I was surprised there was still a large bathtub! I would say here again and recommend for first timers to Japan.
