I don't usually write reviews for spots that I have stayed in, but The Gate in Ryogoku was exceptional in every way. Breakfast is delicious and diverse. Laundry service is impeccable. The staff is so helpful and there for whatever you need. Cocktails were on point (and I'm quite picky). If you're going to stay in Tokyo, this is my #1 pick for its value and location to a station and grocery bites. Cannot suggest enough.

The Staff were 5/5 perfect, they were there when needed or if i had any questions they responded in a professionally respectable way that was either in English or Japanese. Conveniently the Hotel is about 3-5 minute walk to the train station. The room was very spacious compared to the usual hotels i stayed at in my previous trips to Japan There is a local grocery store near the train station for the best affordable prices compared to 7 eleven or family mart. There is also alot of local restaurants and a McDonald nearby that's within 5 minute walking distance to the hotel. The rooms Aircon was the best.
