We had a great stay at soil nihonbashi! The staff was excellent, the room and decor was so cozey with strong mid century style that had me in awe! We honestly wished we could have stayed longer and will for sure be staying here again in the future!

The property was beautifully designed, thoughtfully maintained, and clearly created with purpose. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the light breakfast in the morning was a lovely touch. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner, making it a nice place to retreat to after a busy day exploring. At this price point I did feel the property was lacking in amenities and the rooms were smaller than expected for the cost. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return if the price were a little more competitive.

Loved this hotel! Everything is so aesthetic and the rooms are always kept so clean. Very quaint neighborhood, rooms were quiet and barely any street noise could be heard. The light breakfast in the morning is nice as well. If there’s one thing I would come back for, its the customer service they provide. The staff was so incredible and kind. We had A LOT of luggage and oversized items we had bought, and even though they weren’t able to use their courier, they still went out of their way to help me to contact and organize it all despite me being already checked out of the hotel. Thank you again Maki and the rest of the front desk team! Thank you for making our honeymoon stay so amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at SOIL Nihonbashi! We felt very welcomed by staff, it was the most comfortable bed we slept in our whole trip, beautiful bathroom with high quality products. We will definitely be back!

It was once a monastery, and I love how they’ve preserved its character while making the space their own. The stone throughout the entire property is absolutely beautiful—simple, elegant and full of character. The simplicity and quietness made it the perfect escape from the crowds of Rome. I loved this place and would definitely stay here again when I return. The staff were amazing too—so warm and friendly!

Dette hotel er helt unikt og utrolig cool. Jeg tror ikke, jeg nogensinde har oplevet så flinke, smilende og jordnære medarbejdere. Hele idéen bag hotellet arkitekturen, beplantning etc er virkelig gennemtænkt og charmerende. Vores værelse havde vinduer mod to sider, så man kunne ligge i sengen og nyde udsigten, og vinduerne kunne ovenikøbet åbnes – noget, der er sjældent på hoteller. Beliggenheden i en stille del af Nihonbashi - er perfekt, og fordi både personalets vibe og den lille hotelbar var så fantastisk, valgte vi at følge deres anbefalinger til både morgenmadscafé og en hyggelig vinbar med snacks og dumplings. Det fortrød vi bestemt ikke. Vi havde tre overnatninger på SOIL, og det var uden tvivl det bedste hotel på vores ferie – faktisk et af de bedste hoteller, vi nogensinde har boet på. Det er ikke luksuriøst i klassisk forstand, og det hverken praler med store faciliteter eller forsøger at være noget, det ikke er. Hotellet vil nok ikke appellere til alle, men for os var kombinationen af stemning, beliggenhed og personale helt perfekt. Tusind tak, SOIL, for en fantastisk oplevelse. Vi kommer til at huske vores ophold længe
