Very clean, very helpful staff, very conveniently located to get to anywhere in Shinjuku by foot. Very small room, but well organized and great bathroom for the size. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety in a pleasant space. Negatives were noise from the street (bring a white noise machine) and if you are a larger person the room and the bathroom will be difficult to negotiate.

The breakfast is great. The front desk is very helpful. At night, we had a wonderful time, walking through the shiny streets. Yes, it is smack dab in the red light district, and there were a couple of weird guys a couple of blocks away. However, I felt comfortable having my teenage sons walk around by themselves at night. Everything seemed pretty safe. There won’t be a view from your hotel room, you will sleep super soundly at this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Thought it weird that they gave you amenities like coffee and tea on the off-days from when they clean the room. And on days they clean the room they take away your extra towel, and give you a new robe. About a 10 minute walk from the subway. Tons to explore in the area, but very touristy. My window faced a fire escape/brick wall. But the perk was that I heard no noise from the street. Room is small, but I utilized the shelving area to store my clothes, and then put my suitcase at the end of the bed.

Was able to book hotel right away at a great price after my other hotel cancelled on me. Double bed room size was pretty reasonable for me and my partner considering we’ve stayed in smaller rooms. Great walking distance to everything, including to Shinjuku station. I accidentally left my souvenir bag in the room when I was in a rush and the hotel found it and was able to get it delivered back to me in Canada. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I arrived a day late after significant flight delays and the staff were very accommodating despite my late arrival. The room and bathroom are compact, but it was just enough space for me as I’m a solo traveler. Everything was clean and well maintained. Being nearby stations was very convenient. I ended up using Shin-Okubo station often- it’s still crowded, but smaller and much easier to navigate than bigger stations. Breakfast was awesome! The reviews didn’t lie, the buffet is a great way to start your morning, especially convenient for someone like me who has a bad habit of skipping breakfast when in a hurry. It obviously should be noted that this hotel is in a rough area, Kabukicho, the red light district of Tokyo- BUT, if you have experience staying in other major cities, especially U.S. cities like New York and D.C. that pose more dangers, it really isn’t that big of a deal. Just be aware of your surroundings like you would any major city and this hotel is a good affordable place to stay.
