We have a great stay! The room was clean, they have a gym, laundry, and common space/area with tables and microwave. I would definitely recommend to book with breakfast buffet, it was great and saves if you reserved ahead. Staff was very helpful and friendly. PERFECT for Japan first time visitors. We did a lot of research to find this place, and it couldn’t have been better. Ueno is a relaxing respite from the full chaos of touristy areas yet still has endless food/markets/bars within a few steps of the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, so luxurious and the staff are kind and attentive. Everything was perfect, from the bed to the amenities to the location.

Rooms where very clean and updated. no Kitchen just small fridge, Shower and bathroom was top notch. Rooms where a little small but was not expecting a massive room in a great area in the middle of Tokyo. Great location, Quick walk to great authentic shopping and awesome little food stops. Hotel location is just far enough to not hear any noise from busy streets but close enough to get to those areas with a quick stroll. Highly recommend this hotel we had a great comfortable stay.

We had an excellent stay at Nohga Hotel Ueno. The location is unmatched. Just a short walk from Ueno Station, which made getting around Tokyo incredibly convenient. It was easy to hop on the JR lines or the subway, and the neighborhood itself has a lot to offer, from great restaurants and cafés to Ueno Park and several museums nearby.
