This was the perfect place for us to start our Japan trip! Great location near the metro and bus stops and so fun to shop on Kappabashi Street. The use of the space in the room was excellent with a Murphy bunk bed for the third bed, and we really appreciated the kitchen area and items stocked. If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, you won’t regret it!

Our hotel room was excellent (A Two Bedroom, Living Room Relaxing Area, with Kitchen and accessories, plus a washer in the room. The room provide a nice view of the Sky Tree Tower; of which is a must see and visit. The hotel location is quite convenient with The Sky Tree, SensoJi Temple and Asakusa Shrine within walking distance. Taxi's were more convenient verse walking; especially if you plan to do a lot of shopping. The Sensoji Temple is a must visit with much tourist shopping and great eats. Very many venders (Food and Souvenirs) The Ueno Train Station is approximately one mile way from the hotel; very convenient. Dining is just a moment away from the hotel; great choice selections between Japanese and American) restaurants. I would gladly choose this hotel again if I stay within the prefecture. This was a great choice and we enjoyed our stay.

If your an American this is the option for you. Beds that are large enough for a typical American couple are hard to find. These offer that and more. It was enough space, comfortable, we had a kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a separated bathroom. All of that made the stay more comfortable and easy. I will be doing this again.

Check-in and out was easy. Air-conditioning was nice, staff were helpful. Kitchen was suitable for my family and I to eat in. Close to many convenience stores which is handy. Bath and shower, washer and dryer came in handy. Is quite a walk I recommend jumping in an uber from the train station. Love this place would definitely stay again.

Our first time in Tokyo and staying in Minn Kappabashi has been a wonderful experience. It is right on the kitchen shipping street Kappabashi for all local ceramics, knives, and kitchenware. 10 minute from Senso-ji Shrine and another 10 mins from the Tokyo Skytree. The accommodation has laundry/dryer inside note it takes about 3 hours for it to do both wash/dry together. Theres a fridge, two beds and two tatamis. Clean and 24/7 reception service via online if staff isnt present. We highly recommend it here if youre staying in Asakusa area. Lots of places to eat and shopping

The property was great. Very spacious apartment and clean too. With in room laundry was a plus. The worse thing was the check-in. There’s no reception at the lobby. You have to connect on the ipad to talk to someone to help you check in. The person cannot understand English and told me that she cannot find my booking. I told her it can’t be. I spelled my name to her and she told me she cannot find me and hung up on me. We had to connect and talk to her again. After 10mins, she finally found me. She said she’ll send us the room # and code to get in but she never did and hung up on me again. It was just a horrible experience after a long flight.
