Staff were extremely helpful! Hotel was in a very convenient location and rooms were very generously sized. My only complaint would be other guests bringing their barking dogs into the hotel foyer restaurant and staff or management didn't ask them to leave given the other welfare of the guests staying there.

When traveling to Japan, we first arrived in Tokyo and stayed at a different hotel which was cheaper than the Kimpton hotel (Shinjuku). We wanted to leave Kimpton for our last leg of the trip as we thought it was a top class hotel. However, we were very disappointed as the hotel was quite far from SHINJUKU station (walking distance), also the room was extremely small comparing to the first hotel we stayed in Tokyo (Shibuya). There was a lobby as you arrive but no reception to sit down and mingle. In our trip to Japan we stayed in 3 different hotels and they were all spacious, close to a station and luxurious amenities for less money than what we paid for the Kimpton hotel in Shinjuku. Will not recommend this hotel as there are better hotels for cheaper cost and more luxurious than the Kimpton.
