Overall a lovely stay. Food at breakfast wasn’t the best but suitable. Staff were excellent and service top rate. Hotel looked a bit tired in a few areas (carpets frayed in our bedroom). It’s probably a Japan thing, but nowhere to put the shower head so you can stand u set it. You had to hold it in your hand.

We stayed at the new otani years ago the staff was always so friendly. This trip it seems like th staff is less trained and doesn’t seem to exhibit the hospitality Japan is known for. It remains clean.

Clean room with floor to ceiling windows with a great view. Staff was impeccably attentive and the hotel grounds were fantastic. Location in my opinion was prime with subway station a one minute walk out of the property to reach anywhere in Tokyo. It was a great stay.

This not a hotel it’s got everything and sooooo special with the 400 year old garden. Excellent service and care with plenty of extra hygiene etc in the room. Cotton pajamas and bedding were excellent and breakfast was awesome for any culture or background. We are now convinced we must come again. The church in premises was a major shock and surprise with daily Bible study and church on Sunday (Christian). Take my money!!!!
