very clean hotel nice view from our room. staff were great. only issue was that we were 3 people in a room that i think was designed for 2. so there was only about a leg width between beds and hardly anywhere to put luggage etc.

This is a really nice hotel. It’s quite compact and doesn’t have a very big foyer but the rooms are really modern, simple and well maintained. Highlight for us was the 14th floor sky bar which has a fabulous view of the Skytree. When we were staying, there wasn’t a bar open but the staff left free sake and tea for the guests every night there, there was also free soba noodles each night and a flute soloist playing every Monday night. We thought this really went above and beyond for the guests. Really detailed check in and very knowledgeable staff too. Great location too, Okachimachi is right between Akihabara and Ueno there’s a metro station right outside and a JR yamanote line station 5 minutes away.

Staff are very helpful and would go beyond to help you out. The place is also very close to the station and about 8 mins from Ameyoko market. Overall we had a comfortable stay. I highly recommend the place if you stay in Ueno.

Absolutely loved our stay at hotel MONday Premium Ueno Okachimachi ! The room was surprisingly spacious for Tokyo — we were even able to fully open three suitcases comfortably, which is quite rare. The view directly towards the Tokyo Skytree was beautiful, especially at night. The location was also very convenient with a 7-Eleven right across the street. Every time we entered the hotel, we were greeted kindly by the staff, and we really appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the lounge before check-in. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel!

My room was both spotless and surprisingly large, in comparison to some of the other hotels in Japan I’ve stayed at. The staff were extremely helpful and made me feel at welcome from the moment I stepped inside! I will definitely consider refuting here for any future stays in the Uneo area!
