The room was not that clean when we arrived. We had to request the air cleaner filter be changed as it was filthy and covered with dust. Additionally the shower had black mold spots on the wall, which we cleaned ourself with disinfectant wipes. On the cleaning day, the beds were made - sheets not changed (not a big deal). Despite the cleanliness, the staff that we interacted were very friendly and helpful. The location was located close enough to the market / trains.

Good location and great space for family. We had one of the Japanese traditional rooms with 3 kids which was perfect with the 3 futons. No worries about little ones falling off the bed. It was so cute seeing them sleeping next to each other. During the day you can put all that away and have a low table to snack and play. It’s a quiet location but minutes from many conbinis and metro and JR stations. The Ueno station was perfect and easy to get the Shinkansen to Nagano for our next stop in the mountain. It is a bit far from Shibuya / Shinjuku area (45-50min) but honestly it was fine as it gets really busy out there. We took the train there, got our dose of touristy / busy and loud, took a 25min cab back home and were so happy to be back in a quiet neighborhood with all the conveniences you need walking distance.

This was our third stay at this aparthotel, and it never disappoints. The room was very clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer. We stayed in the Japanese family room so it had plenty of room and double sinks. We love the quiet Higashiueno neighborhood while still just a short walk to Ueno Park, train stations, konbinis and Ameyoko. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. A difference-maker for us is their streaming media options. We can connect to our YouTube and Netflix accounts when relaxing in the room. We will definitely be back for another stay.

The room was clean spacious and has everything you need. We stayed at a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. It’s a bit cramped only because we have 8 luggages ( travelled 2 countries during this trip). But we made it work. Hotel is close to the subway and close to ameyoko shopping area. Lots of convenience store and supermarket too. Great for families. My only issue is the washing machine takes a long time to dry so just schedule so your doing laundry at night and it had a bit of a smell, not the clothes but the outside of the machine. Kind of like when things are damp but too much of an issue that why I took 1 star.
