Beautiful property. The gardens of the hotel were amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. The view from the hotel was wonderful! Train station was a 10 min walk away. Can’t put it all into words. Just a beautiful property! Will definitely stay again when traveling to Japan!

I've stayed a few times at Chinzanso and the service is always very good. The rooms are a little dated but are very large, for Japanese standards. The reason I stay at Chinzanso is the Garden. Pay the extra fee and get a garden view. From our rooms we could see Mt. Fuji!

Travel apps can act like rooms are gone, otherwise this is a fantastic hotel. If you are learning Japanese this is a comfortable and beautiful establishment to broaden your language variety. If you get the breakfast coupons with your room the staff in the Miyuki restaurant staff were extra helpful in explaining the names of traditional dishes including how to eat ones that can be difficult for first timers.

Quiet location with the unique and beautiful historic garden as a wonderful feature. Too difficult to get to or from public transport without using a taxi (or driving), which gives it some limitations about access to the city. It is a pricey hotel but worth it.

Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay is here. Pool, spa, onsen, jet pools, the one outside was my favorite. All amenities needed to doll up. Used the room bath once, big tub; mostly spent my time in the spa and gardens for the misting events and night walks. Awesome service and atmosphere. Stayed two nights. Look forward to making staying here next Tokyo trip.

We had the BEST time at Hotel Chinzanso. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We don’t speak Japanese but most of the staff spoke English and if they didn’t, we used Google translate which worked out just fine both ways! We had breakfast at the Italian restaurant, dinner at the eel restaurant on property, as well as ate at many of the spots recommended around the hotel. Our favorite though were the hourly mist shows in the amazing garden and special Tokyo Moon show! The hotel wasn’t as near to train stations as one might like but we don’t mind walking so it was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo was such a beautiful way to end our trip to Japan! The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the thoughtful details made us feel truly cared for. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind. The magnificent gardens and beautiful pool made the hotel feel like a peaceful retreat in the middle of Tokyo. After busy days exploring the city, it was wonderful to return to such a relaxing setting. Give yourself time to enjoy the hotel, pool, and gardens—they’re all part of what makes this place so special. We left with beautiful memories and would happily return!

The hotel and garden are a lovely serene, calm luxurious oasis in the Tokyo metropolis. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well maintained. The only very minor point is the western breakfast fixed menus should have a cereal included rather than having it as carte choice. In my experience from a European aspect an American, Healthy or Continental breakfasts would always include a cereal. This is only a minor point as the overall quality of the breakfast is excellent.

Very nice hotel accommodations during my stay in Tokyo. The staff was awesome, the hotel was extremely clean and there were several restaurant options onsite. One of the things I enjoyed most are the views of the city from my hotel room. I would definitely consider staying there again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Great property, the garden is gorgeous, one can spend a hours there interacting with nature. They done a great job preserving Japanese culture. Amazing bath amenities. The staff is a bit rigid and could be more welcoming. Location is not ideal but honestly you don’t need to leave the property unless for sightseeing. I would suggest this hotel for a last day or two to relax before flying back home. We tried the spa and it was pretty good.
