No, it's not a Marriott or Hilton, it's distinctly Japanese and that's what makes it so fun! Great location, convenient to everything in Shinjuku. Breakfast buffet is definitely Japanese style, but that's what's cool about it. Will stay there again in the future.

Room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Plenty more amenities were in the lobby and by the elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was our room was located by the staff staircase and loud noises were heard in the early AM hours. Free services were a major plus, particularly the foot bath.

Overall a nice intro to Tokyo. 10-15 minute walk to nearby train station, friendly staff, clean rooms, lots of extras in providing snacks, drinks, breakfast, evening cocktails, and massage chairs. Rooms are tight, but that's expected in Tokyo. The bathtub was huge and good water pressure in the shower. I wish I knew how to turn off the heat on Japanese toilet seats!

This hotel is our new family favourite and exceeded our expectations. The staff were considerate and friendly and my children loved the 24/7 snack and drink bar as well as the arcade and gym. Such a perfect base camp to explore Tokyo from! We wound up staying at the Bali A both for our first week in Tokyo and then the final night when we returned for our trip home. It turned out to be the perfect location and set of amenities to recharge and feel refreshed each night. Tokyo can be a little overwhelming, and the beautiful and specious room and the foot baths and massage chairs downstairs, along with the delicious morning buffet and all the free amenities in the lobby all helped to make us feel cozy and safe and whole again to head out for another day of adventures. Don’t miss the Hanazono shrine nearby, it’s a great option when walking to the shinjuku train station, and there is a flea market there on weekends. And we quickly found the little “Path of four seasons” that connects the Bali An street over to near Mister Donut and is a nice little behind the scenes trail to feel like you’re out of the city for a few minutes on your way over to the explosive energy of the Shinjuku train station(!!!)

This was a fantastic hotel experience in the heart of Shinjuku with accessibility to all major hubs and only about a 10 minute walk to the JR lines at Shinjuku station. We were a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids, and had a great time. There was always accessible drinks and coffee in the lobby, and we got breakfast included, which had something for everyone. For American travelers, just note the rooms are smaller than you’re used to at American hotels, but we’ve done Japan before and it’s a good size for what you need. There’s a Konbini right around the corner, like 20 steps, as well as a nice Ramen place, and plenty of other eats not more than 1/4 mile in all directions. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating; however, it would behoove you to know basic Japanese phrases, but it’s not necessary if you need something. Highly recommend whether group or solo traveling.

The amenities are vast and interesting. There are so many free things you can take advantage of in the hotel it was very nice. The room design and size are also amazing and very enjoyable. The TV setup was the only thing that was confusing to us.

Traditional Bali decor, which was very pleasant to see and hear. Property was clean, family room was very spacious. It had 2 massage chairs, living area, spa with supplies and free breakfast, dinner included. Negative features were the staff weren’t fluent in English, unable to converse over the phone as they needed translating app. There were many balian hotels nearby, so navigation was tricky and need to search with all the words in the name. The one we stayed was at least 15min walk, so will not be easy if having big luggage.
