Nice hotel close to Tokyo university and Ueno park. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Room was clean, more spacious than other hotels we had in Japan, and very quiet. Bed was comfortable, the hotel has amenities such as pyjamas and toothbrushes. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay!

Large room with comfy beds. We asked for an extra pillow and got them delivered to our room within minutes. The room had a Japanese-style bathroom and separate high tech loo and separate washbasin/shaving area. The breakfast was excellent . The reception staff were informative and helpful. Really nice room. Staff is very helpful. Not that close to the main atractions, but if you looking for a budget friendly stay, this is the one. There are some restaraunts near, as well as some convinience stores. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great option for most points however quality bedding was extremely low in the room I stayed in. I think being able to sleep is a significant part of what makes a good hotel. The bed and pillows were extremely hard so I tossed and turned without sleep. My friend who bunked with me slept fine so it’s a matter of personal taste. I’m not sure about the other rooms but the one I got had the toughest bed and pillows I’ve ever felt.
