The location was convenient and staffs were friendly. Building is a bit dated, keep very clean but there’s smell inside the room. Since the room on the road side, you can hear traffic. One down side, there’s no black out curtain if you care about sleeping in. Plus for the clean laundry machine and dryer.

Location ! Location ! Very near Asakusa station less than 3 min walk & 5 min walk to Ginza Line. The room bed is Tatami style & room size not too big or small, good enough to put 2 medium & 2 hand carry luggages. Daily breakfast : toast , butter ,jam and soup. Coffee is excellent. The only cons: need a long mirror & room lighting is not bright enough . Overall Highly recommended to stay at this hotel.

Room was spotless and they had multiple amenities! Loved going to their lounge to unwind after a long day of walking. The hotel had perfect sighting of the Sumida River and the Sky Tree from the lounge and rooftop! The staff were always kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was also ideal for us, we loved the calm ambience of asakusa, how close we were to the metro station, conveniently there was also a family mart right across the street. Loved our stay!! 10/10

I stayed at Tamayura for just one night, but it left a great impression. The location is excellent—within walking distance of Sensoji Temple—yet tucked away enough to avoid the noise and crowds. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The nearby train station made getting around easy, and the area is filled with fantastic restaurants and shops. Overall, Tamayura offers a comfortable stay in a convenient and lively part of the city. Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly, clean room and great location. Room was single pane glass and no block out blinds/curtains, so if you want to sleep in, you’ll have issues as you’ll be awake with the sunrise and traffic. It was also cold overnight, and the only hotel I had to keep the heating on. The ventilation fan seemed to be shared with a restaurant as it smelled like cooking in the bathroom. Limited breakfast is offered, toast and tea/coffee but it was nice to sit down in the morning in the level 9 lounge before starting my day. Rooftop and lounge had great views of the Tokyo skytree and river.

Great affordable place to stay for sightseeing in the area. Room is very small, even for Japanese standards, but clean all we really needed. Skytree and Sensoji are both an easy walk. Asakusa station is very close. Would stay here again.

Brilliant location for sightseeing and moving around - half way between Asakusa and Toei Oedo lines, both a very easy walk away. Room was very small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is only toast and coffee/teas which you make yourself but that's OK if you are prepared. Several restaurants and cafes close by.

Cozy little room big enough for max 2 people. It was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Location was pretty good. Close to Asakusa st. Walk distance to the Sensoji temple. And conbinis on every corner for an easy access to quick breakfast or a snack. Happy with my stay would book it again.

Hotel with convenient location and awesome views

Our stay at Asakusa hotel Hatago was a pleasant one. The hotel has a nice location bit further from the more crowded parts of Tokyo, yet everything is just minutes away by the two subway lines just around the corner. The room and the hotel in all were clean, comfy and tidy. The breakfast is a bit scarce, but the views over the Sumida river from the 9th floor breakfast lounge compensated for that. All in all I would choose Asakusa hotel Hatago again for my stay in Tokyo.

There is electric kettle provided which can be collected from a rack located near the elevators. A typical room that is sufficient for a single or couple to rest after a day of exploring Tokyo. There is no wardrobe provided in certain rooms. Recommend bringing your own cup if you want to make your own beverages although paper cups are provided.
