Excellent location. We stayed in different rooms during our stay and had totally different experiences in each. We stayed one night in the largest room, which was comfortable and well decorated, although the blinds didn’t all work. We stayed in the smallest room for one night. It was tiny: too small for two people. It was simply decorated and was not in a good state of repair : it reminded us of a university hall of residence or hostel. But it was cheaper. So choose your room carefully!

Tucked away in a quiet alley just moments from the buzz of Hoppy Street and Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Club Hotel is the kind of place you almost don’t want to share —because part of its magic is how hidden it feels.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Our room was modern, clean, and spacious with a nice bathroom and extra comfy bed. It exceeded expectations in size, views and comfort. The location was walking distance to shopping and Sensoji Temple area. Free bike rental was an added bonus to the stay.

I loved everything about this hotel—the location surrounded by charming restaurants and the ancient temple, the cool decor, the room views, the tea and shampoo and pajamas, the staff who went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

the room and amenities were poor - the photos are misleading as the room looks nothing like this - the room was small and cramped - I am not even sure it was the same hotel we booked as the name of the hotel we arrived aat was not the asakus Kokonokurabu but something called the asakusa club hotel We paid over 200 dollars canadian for this and it had the quality of a 1 star - the only good thing was that staff were really good and helpful. - we would like expedia to investigage the picttures and claims they make as they are not true

An absolutely great spot to explore the city. It’s a few blocks off a Main Street and close to the train and bus lines. It’s close to several amazing temples and shrines, with numerous hidden gems all around. The staff speaks English far better than my Japanese, and anything beyond that was covered with translation apps or simply pointing. Clean, kind and cornered near some of the best things Tokyo has to offer.

Excellent neighborhood. Easy walk to Senso-ji and all of Asakusa’s vibrant streets. Hotel is on a quieter street. We took a large room with a balcony and really enjoyed having an outdoor space to sit. Staff are attentive and helpful, with few language challenges. Lovely smaller hotel with a boutique vibe.

Excellent property with clean quiet rooms. We had a beautiful bath for soaking with complimentary bath salts after spending the days exploring the city. We could also see Mount Fuji in the morning. It’s a small hotel with nice views out of the balcony over to Sky Tree and Sensouji Temple. Rooms are quite spacious (by Tokyo standard), bathrooms are huge. The lounge seatings provided in the room were just not comfortable, and shower will flood everywhere in the bathroom. Will stay again.
