You couldn't find a closer hotel to a station so for easy access after a long flight, this hotel was perfect, literally right outside the station exit. Euno park was also right around the corner and you're within 2 min walk from a lively night market alley.

Great location... Next to the ueno keisei train station and just a block from the Ueno jr train station. Lots of restaurants, bars and night life and right beside Ueno park and zoo. Staff was helpful and friendly. However, The automatic check in was very cumbersome to handle a reservation for 3 rooms. Staffv ended up having to help and took quite a while. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but tiny and the walls were paper thin.

We wanted to cancel last day out of 3 as it became uncomfortable for 3 of us in one small room which did not even have queen bed, they couldn’t do that for 3rd night also!! Very disappointing experience as it was our first day in the first ever trip to Japan. Location is excellent though!!

The location of hotel is excellent. It is close to Ueno park and many museums. This was quite an advantage during the cherry blossom season. There is a central metro station 5 minutes away. The hotel had no air conditioning and the rooms could get stuffy and hot, however, we left the back window viewing to the park open and it was adequate. The regular room cleaning occurs every 3 to 4 days. Some of the staff at the front desk were dismissive (or perhaps untrained) of the questions and requests. The daily breakfast buffet was the highlight of our stay.

Loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and amazing; especially the room cleaning team. It’s so close to everything (shopping, food and Ueno nightlife) and I was able to get to and from Narita Airport in approximately 45 minutes. Bonus: The hotel is right across the streets from the Ueno train station.
